Irradiant Core is a challenging Single Player Top-Down Shooter with a unique mix of Action, RTS, RPG and Tower Defense elements. It takes place in a world where natural light is a scarce resource. You control a humanoid cyborg who can acquire more powerful gear and learn new skills. Irradiant Core offers exciting, fun and challenging content with a rewarding, in-depth, character progression.
A Unique combination of different genres:
Action. Destroy enemy machinery and actively dodge incoming projectiles! Fight against the enemy tanks and turrets on several different battlegrounds.
RTS. Build allied tanks and conquer the enemy’s base. Increase your firepower by capturing turrets and taking control of the neutral zone.
RPG. Upgrade your skills, gear and stats to build up a perfect character for your playstyle.
Tower Defense. Upgrade and repair your turrets, which secure your base from enemy tanks.
Simple and Flexible Controls. The game offers two options for controls: a joystick with automatic targeting or "tap-to-move" and "tap-to-target".
These two options can be used jointly, for example, joystick for movement with tap-to-target. Target an enemy and shooting will be automated. The main challenge is to actively dodge incoming projectiles and avoid other threats in real time, while destroying enemy tanks and turrets.
Easy to Learn, Hard to Master. Do you remember the times when you were in the middle of a tough situation which seemed almost impossible to handle? And that euphoric feeling after you succeeded? In this Top-Down Shooter, some missions can be very hard and challenging, but there’s always a reward waiting. If your boss or mom orders you to stop playing, you can always pause the game. This game is awesome! Has an old-school feel to it. It's like a mix of RPG with TD. IAP are very reasonable! I spent a couple dollars to support the developer. I'm hoping future updates bring more levels as there is only 8 right now. Map creator, bigger maps, and online play would be great!

This game is fun and difficult, I like the idea of taking control of the map via turrets and other things. But I would like to see units other than tanks be deployable, like normal soldiers that could fight alongside the tanks for support.

Very basic, not in a good way. Forced ads 10 levels, and you're done. Janky progression system, and to access the character menu you will need to watch a forced ad, lol skip this game
