Is This Safe? is a free safety scanner that checks links, text messages, QR codes, files, email headers, and domains before you open them. Powered by real-time DNS and SSL certificate verification, it catches phishing, scams, and malware — even brand-new threats that haven't reached any blocklist yet.

WHAT YOU CAN SCAN
— Links: Paste any URL to check for phishing, suspicious domains, and brand impersonation
— Messages: Paste SMS texts, WhatsApp messages, or emails to detect scam patterns and hidden threats
— QR Codes: Point your camera at any QR code to check where it leads before you visit
— Files: Analyse any file's metadata, extension, and hash before opening it
— Email Headers: Verify SPF, DKIM, and DMARC authentication to detect forged emails
— Domains: Get a full DNS infrastructure and SSL certificate assessment of any domain

HOW IT WORKS
Every scan queries live DNS servers in real time, checking A, AAAA, MX, SPF, DMARC, NS, CAA, CNAME, and TXT records in parallel. SSL certificates are verified for validity, expiry, and issuer. Results are instant, clear, and actionable — Safe, Caution, or Dangerous — with detailed explanations and next steps.
