iSecretShop - Mystery Shopping

★★★★★ It doesn't typically have a high payout, but it is legit, and I've done a few on site shops and phone shops.

★★★★★ It is my pleasure to work for iSecretShop. It has been an enjoyable opportunity and I have received and invoice and know that I will be paid soon for my second shop. I was also paid for my first shop. Some of the jobs pay more than others, but they do pay. Definitely helping in a time of need.

★★★★★ The company may take a long time to pay out, but the questions are very easy, and never take an unreasonable amount of time to complete. They often give you "Badges" for work well done which is very motivating, and it helps make the projects fun. I have been working with secret shop for a decade or so now, and they are fair, reliable and trustworthy. Finally, they are helpful and good at communicating what changes need to be done for the shop to be accepted.

★★☆☆☆ Don't waste your time with this app. After reviewing several complaints about payment on this app and then seeing some praising reviews, I figured that I would download and try one of the jobs to "test" it out. I did one Circle K job for a full reimbursement of $7.00. Not only has it been two months with no payout, but you have to email the company who is requesting the job be done for payment status. It's been over two weeks since I emailed them and there has been no response. Don't waste your phone space with this app. It's a sound idea, but you need an advocate for you when the contracting entity isn't paying you for your work and there was no one even with ISecretShop that responded to me other than to say to contact the vendor directly. Save yourself the trouble.

★★☆☆☆ App seems promising and has potential. My problem is that the jobs that are available only give vague descriptions of what they entail in regard to expectations of shopper. For example, a job at an Apollo burger just instructed shopper to evaluate customer service, and cleanliness of establishment. Where is a punch list? Any verbatim to speak of? Or am I just winging it?
