Really good implementation of the board game. AI needs a little tweak though they often grab more plantations than they can buy buildings to operate those plantations.

Generally a great game, especially as no other Android version of the
closely-related board game Puerto Rico exists. I wouldn't go into playing
this version without having played the board game previously, but it's a
great app to keep you practicing. The AI can be a bit dodgy, though. Even
on Hard, it often picks the captain or trader cards when it has no
resources to offer to either and when there's only 5 reals (1dubloon) on
them. Not sure if this is intentional? Seems odd to me. Otherwise good,
though.

I downloaded this app in preparation to buy the board game (Puerto Rico). The rules were confusing at first, but once understood it is a great game to play. Good app. No bugs. No ads - nicely done.

I have started three games now with palm oil buildings. Whether I put a
worker on them or not, I am told that when I produce, I skipped my action.
Yes, there is definitely still palm oil in the supply. The only resource I
have successfully produced is a banana. The rules are awkwardly worded, and
the game moves too fast to be able to tell what is happening, or why. The
player needs to be able to read things them tap to confirm There is no
indication of when one round is starting and when the next begins. There is
no indication of why a player is sometimes unable to take an action. The
game does not tell you that you need both a plantation and a matching
building to produce a good. The game does not explain why sometimes there
are buildings available to build, and sometimes there are not. The game
does not explain why sometimes you are unable to sell your goods even if
you are the one who took the producer action. Functionally it's a good
start for an app, but I think that unfortunately the game makes no sense
unless you already know how to play Puerto Rico. I can't give a good rating
to a game that doesn't teach me clearly how to play the game.
