Probably most fun I had with a tower defense game. Well worth the spend.

Decent game, fun and simple although, very rng based. Massive likelihood of losing if you got garbage luck.

I've played a solid 50 hours of this game now and while the game and its mechanics are fun, most of the towers are downright useless. Poison is overpowered, as well as the ornate, moat, boulder, and cannon towers. The rest rely too heavily on the rng of finding power towers to keep them relevant as the game progresses. It can be frustrating to have a fantastic 15 waves only to be screwed over by extremely poor rng, or useless towers. Also, an endless mode would be nice to see.

It is not fun when factors out of players control make game unwinnable. Levels are 40 rds & last over 45 minutes. On round 30 a new defense point appears but your "random playable cards" do not generate defense towers to defend the new point. There is often no way to win. I just lost 3 plays in row in which I went into rd 30 with full health & lost by rd 34 due not getting towers to defend the new points in the level even though I was spending all my gold to get extra cards. Not enjoyable.

Difficulty is added by making you defend more paths with the same amount of resources, rather than through.... Difficulty.
