This is a very good app - once purchased you have a considerable set of graded conversations to slowly improve your listening skills. There are some basic errors of translation and meaning, but these are far outweighed by being able to get familiar with the basics of conversations in everyday italian. There should be more like this.

SO MANY ADS. And I have to keep the sound on so I can hear the lesson, but that means after every lesson there's an ad yelling at me. Too much. Very jarring and startling. The other alternative is the pro version which is almost $40. Seemed like a great format, but I can't stomach the free version for long enough to decide if I want the pro version. Too bad.

Crazy useless. Buy yourself an old school course or app based on tried and true learning techniques to study, practice and effort. Try the Teach Yourself series. Also check out Language Transfer (there is a Play store app). No... I don't work for either of these other companies, but I'm learning my 5th language using apps and old school books/audio.

This app looked exactly like what I am looking for. Unfortunately, all the conversations I checked so far have some very annoying background noise: airport terminal, car driving etc. Whoever thought that it is a good idea to make listening more difficult by adding noise should be fired.
