Fantastic for route planning, and you can purchase tickets in app. The only issue I had been that everything is in english planning your route until you actually get to the stage of buying the ticket and then everything is in Polish with different ticket options.

Very friendly and helpful! I've visited Poland for 7 days, cities: Gdańsk, Warsaw, Kraków. JdJ helped me to navigate around each city and with railways. I like connection with maps and location. I wouldn't have such a good time without it.

It's 2026, and it's not possible to either use contactless payment, or pay for a single trip by Google Pay in the app, for Warsaw metro. I had to download the app, add my phone number, and top up the in-app wallet. This may have been acceptable 5 years ago, but not in 2026. Also, the minimum amount you can add to your wallet is 5 PLN, and the service charges 1 PLN fee for every transaction. Thus, every ticket costs 1 PLN more, unless you add more to your wallet. This is not good enough

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this app for use in Poland. I already experienced issues with trains not being shown in the app and had to purchase a ticket at the station office. Today I tried to buy a ticket to SKM in Gdańsk just as the train was arriving at the station. The purchase button did not appear even after restarting the application. It appears for every subsequent one, but not for the current one when it stays on the platform with open doors. I recommend using any other app.

Never able to use to purchase tickets as payments always declined (card and Google Pay) with multiple cards from Australia and UK. Just buy your tickets on the bus/tram if you don't have an EU card. Not bad for route planning though.
