★★★★★ As a Western Tourist from Canada in April 2023, I found this app was excellent and better than Google Maps. We had a Japanese Rail Pass and the app, below the 'From and To" options has a bar called "Route Options" which lets you select Japan Rail Pass, so you get only the trains you can take without payment. I could not get Google Maps to do this. I also found the JR rail English-speaking floating reps, when they were out of the office taking to us, used this app on their phone to help us.

★★★★★ Much more reliable than Google Maps, although I do use Google to get a visual idea of where things are in country. This is my go-to trip planning app now though.

★★★★★ Convenient for visitors to know the transport information. One of my favorites while I'm travelling in Japan

★★☆☆☆ Eh, honestly it's not as good as the old app from the same developer. The previous one was really nice and simple and worked well. But the UI in this one feels very cluttered and messy, and it feels like ads were forced in. I'm really sad the old one has gone. I think it could be as good, but the UI definitely needs work. A lot of the English text doesn't fit properly and some of the translation isn't good. The 'F', 'L' and 'E' are not explained anywhere either, it was far clearer in the old app

★★☆☆☆ The webpage Jordan.co.jp finds trains that the app does not find. This week I went to Tokyo and from a Soto line station. The app was wrong in both directions. There is usually about one train an hour aty station, so missing a train makes a big difference. Why do Japan Transit Planner -Norikae (green icon) and Norikae Annai (orange icon) give different answers when both are Jordan apps?

★★☆☆☆ The new version is this app doesn't even recognize the Odakyu line or Denentoshi line! It's terrible in UI and function compared to the old version, not sure why they stopped supporting. It's not useable for not showing all the lines and I must warn everyone, please don't bother.
