JaxReady provides access to current threat levels, weather reports, and wildfire updates, as well as up-to-the-minute news feeds for emergency preparedness and evacuation. I was apprehensive about installing this app based on past reviews. I contacted the city, and they assured me it was working as intended. I did go ahead and install it. I was able to test most features to my satisfaction. I had no issues with the operation of the app or of my cell phone while using the app. The app does appear to function as intended. Due to there not being any current weather emergency I was NOT able to view an active list of available shelters. The radar does work, but the satellite information did not. I don't know if this is a temporary or long term issue.

Needs far more work... Doesn't give any more info than yahoo weather or the weather on my phone desktop. Not the fastest updates. As all said, shuts down app on Androids. OK for free but uninstalled as beats battery down.

Ok so today is 10/02/24. I click on "Emergency Shelters and Supplies" and it STILL says "SHELTERS WILL OPEN ON 9/25/24" All I can see is the outdated message from the LAST HURRICANE. Why isn't there a LIST, so we can see what the shelters are AHEAD OF TIME???????? We need to have a list AHEAD OF TIME SO WE CAN PREPARE......... SOMEONE IS ASLEEP AT THE DESK AT READY WHILE PEOPLE'S LIVES ARE IN THR LINE..............

Horrible worthless app. Whoever uploaded the evacuation zones to the website doesn't realize it's going to Google Drive says no preview available won't let you download it. So in desperation I downloaded this app and all it is a repeat of the website with no interactive features whatsoever, cannot input the address where it says input your address for the zone… I'm not saying any more I'm just deleting

Fix the back button This app needs to be designed for android so our takes' advantage of the back button. It feels like a second rate iOS port. Jacksonville a big enough city they should be able to handle that.
