To customize message colors or font colors: Press Menu > Settings > Advanced > Appearance Settings > Choose Conversation List customization // Conversation customization (Message view) // Popup Window customization > Find and change whichever options to your liking.

Not spam Mickey you don't know jack. The little ads that show on your notification list are how some devs can support their work. They don't take up mem or cpu and if you aren't interested in the ad just swipe away and it's gone. I have two of this devs themes and swiping away occasional notifications is a small price to pay for the work that went into the theme trust me I know something about it... The dev has to eat for goodness sake. You need to learn the difference between spam and ad support. You probably play Angry Birds or something else with rolling ad support but you aren't yelling about that. jeez!
