Jepster | Bike computer

★★★★★ Genuinely the best bike computer app I've seen. I've been using this app for several years now and the dev actually fixed my only negative thing about the app a while ago, so now it's perfect IMO! Works well with my heart rate sensor and routes from Strata.

★★★★★ Replaced my Garmin cycling computer with my android smartphone + Jester app. Jester is very configurable and feature-rich. I use an Ant+ speed sensor, which functions very well. The app has settings for 4 different bikes--a very useful feature. I prefer using Jester to my Garmin, as it (Jester) has plenty of features and options, and I really like being able to utilize my phone for several purposes. Jester is a great app. There are several ways to extend your phone battery, while using Jepster--read the manual, for hints. Note: I use a Quad lock phone mount, it's great.

★★☆☆☆ Unusable for me. Demands I turn phone power management off, even though I flagged app for ok to run in background. If I turn that off, the app runs but can then never be quit. Shame, the rest of it looked great.

★★☆☆☆ GPS don't work, there is no even option for checking if app is working. Google Maps, Strata and everything else works fine I mean what's the point in GPS app if GPS don't work in it. Edit: I didn't have time to test out new version, but another thing I encountered is each time I want to connect power meter with this app I need to restart phone, not sure if this also applies to HR.
