5 itineraries will lead you to discover the palaces and monumental complexes that enrich the square: extraordinary buildings of great historical and artistic value and treasures of cultural heritage linked to both the past and the present.
The paths that you can follow, each consisting of 6 points of interest, reflect the souls of this place:
- stage of the city's History since Roman times and witness to major events such as the birth of Emperor Frederick II;
- salon of the Arts, whose prestigious buildings have welcomed illustrious figures such as the painter Lorenzo Lotto, the musician Giovan Battista Pergolesi and in modern times the actress Valeria Moriconi;
- Centre of Faith for Jesi and the Vallesina area, where the town's main religious buildings are located and where important events linked to the town's cults still take place today;
- Crux of the city Power, where noble families and religious authorities leading the city for centuries have given life to sumptuous palaces and monumental buildings;
- space for the Community, which for more than two millennia has lived this square as a place for civil and religious events, trade exchanges, games and shows.
