The Home tab welcomes you with two chalkboard-style counters that show your active jobs for the current week and the total number of students assigned, along with a handy "Assign Jobs" button to get started immediately. Tap that button to open a clean form where you can enter a student’s name, choose the job title, set the week’s start date, and add an optional note. Every assignment you create is saved locally on your device, so your data remains private and accessible even without an internet connection. Switch to the Job Board tab to see all current jobs displayed as a digital pocket chart, with colorful cards that feature a student name and a unique silhouette icon for each role. A blue strip marks line leader duties, green identifies general classroom jobs, and yellow highlights supply-related tasks. If a student’s job week ends or a mistake is made, you can simply swipe a card to delete it instantly. The Roster tab builds an alphabetical list of every student you have ever assigned, presented on a ruled paper background with a handwriting-style font. Next to each name, a small sticky-note tab reveals their current week’s job, making it easy to spot who is responsible for what. Use the built-in search bar to filter the roster by a student’s name and find their job history in seconds. Over time, the History tab organizes all past assignments into collapsible week headers, giving you a clear record of how responsibilities have rotated. RoleCall never uses check marks or ticks, focusing instead on a friendly, pocket-chart aesthetic that young learners recognize and enjoy.
