Jottacloud is an affordable way to have tons of cloud backup. The photo and video backup is almost instantaneous on my Sony phone with Android 12. I also appreciate the frequent updates with change logs.

Works pretty good so far. The app isn't overloaded with features. It's easy to use. The app integrates into the storage framework, so that you can directly access Jottacloud from other apps like internal storage. TLS v1.3 and IPv6 are a big plus. The new AI-featured image search works pretty well, so I could see myself using Jottacloud instead of Google Photos as my main photo library. There are some minor issues, but the support team is very responsive, so I'm positive these can be fixed.

Jottacloud keep removing my files. About every month or so I get "Did you delete a lot of files from Jottacloud?" and find that jottacloud has moved my 800 GB of files into the trash bin for deletion in 30 days. I contacted support, but they suggest this is expected in case the files have not been able to sync for the past 30 days from my local computer, which I one of the most stupid responses I've every seen from a cloud storage company. Looking for a replacement service now

It does not work for dynamic storage archive that you need to change frequently. I asked for a refund within the 14-day period. I deleted all my files to make it easier for them but no refund has come.

Don't use it to back up photos unless you want to buy one of their plans... The app lacks the VERY BASIC feature of removing a photo from your Jottacloud storage without also deleting it from your phone. So when you run out of storage your only practical option is to upgrade your storage to a larger and more expensive amount... Shame on you Jottacloud!

Cant upload a file, there's no error message or anything after selecting file for upload
