I recently got a pixel 10, and love this journal app. I do a lot of writing, so it is handy to have when I want to write something, or inspiration hits me, and I don't have a note pad. I also love the writing prompts to get my daily writing inspiration kickstarted. I hope they make a desktop version of this because I do more writing on my computer, as using my phone to type long entries is a little cumbersome.

This app inspired me to start journal ling. It's relatively basic, but excellent and doesn't overdo it. The only other thing I might wish for is a place to doodle, but being able to add photos to entries is good though. I did retype a few old journals from an older device from years ago. Flicking through the date picker to find a date years ago was a bit of a hassle. But I accept it's not a standard use case. The only thing I worry about now is Google sunsetting this great app as per.

Ai feature with not switch on it the journal settings. State's "This device does not support Pixel Journal Al features".

There is no way to export the Journal to Google Docs. The contents of the journal can only be accessed through the Journal app, which seems only to be available on Google Pixel phones. It seems a waste of time to write a journal that is locked in an app and would not be accessible to me if I moved to a different make of phone. Rubbish and pointless!
