Journey into Darkness is a challenging 100,000 word interactive fantasy novel by Jonathan Clark, where your choices control the story. It’s entirely text-based, without graphics or sound effects, and fueled by the vast, unstoppable power of your imagination.
There are eight full-size color lino-cut illustrations and six smaller handmade stamp illustrations within this text adventure.

Don't bother. There's only one path through the story, so it's not a CYOA game.

I actually purchased this book. I went out of my way to try to beat this game. It is a difficult game to say the least. There are steps that must be followed in game to be successful that are not intuitive. This game has too many dead ends. I have never been a huge fan of puzzle games but this one is like a rubiks cube in complexity. The story is decent, but it's unlikely you will ever finish this story without a guide. It is that difficult and there is no guide. Good story, frustrating game

Essentially an ad, two or three pages of "game" and then just pay to play. Rather pay to get rid of Hosted.
