Just got into Mastodon, and of the two better Masto apps, this is the one I'm leaning toward when I'm not using the browser because it's just so much more VERSATILE. Really a ton of customization options. Multiple columns, custom colors and sizes...really a lot. That said, it may be that I'm not looking in the right place, but the thing I'm not finding is the thing I'm wanting the most. > An option to see the #of comments/replies to a post under the post itself, where you can already decide to see #of faves or retoots [or whatever that's called]. Mastodon in a browser lacks the ability to see #of faves/retoots/replies entirely, so that's out. Mastalab and STooter both allow you to enable an option to see #of retoots and faves. Mastalab DOES have an option to see #of replies, but for some reason, there is only an option to enable it on the Home Feed view, which makes it useless for my purposes. STooter has a "Show replies count" option, but I've fiddled with it, and I have no idea what it does; I know that it does NOT do what I want it to, which is show me the #of replies/comments to a post at a glance the way I can already see #of faves or retoots. In terms of bugs, the biggest I've found is that STooter and Mastalab both have trouble correctly displaying the #of faves a post has unless you unlike and relive it to force an update. Not sure what could be done about that. Anyway. It's super functional, if slow and kind of ugly [tbh I like the simple UI], and if I can find a way to get #of replies to display at a glance and figure out why all feeds are showing replies as well as posts instead of ONLY the posts themselves, then I'll definitely stick with it. Otherwise, I guess Mastalab's it, as that DOES display #of replies at a glance SOMEWHERE, even if it's not on the feed I want it to.

I've spent all day playing with this app. This app has *all* the data and can display it in a variety of ways. In the notifications "column", for instance, you can see replies, favorites, boosts, edits, polls, and follows. I love this! The Mastodon app will only break down by replies and all, and Tusky won't even do that. There is one huge problem for me: The display of images is terrible. The app is ugly in general - more tolerable in dark mode - but I need to be able to see the images.

Mastodon/Fediverse client with lots of features and customizability. Very pleasant to use.

I can't even log in to my existing account. I'll stick with tusky. This app is useless.

No. Just no. I never sign on to agreements I cannot begin to understand -- and that was what I was met with upon opening the app: a massive wall of unintelligible text, e.g.: "Also due to Mastodon restrictions, Subway Tooter send [sic] an unrecoverable digest of access token to the application server for push subscription." What does that even mean? I'm not agreeing to anything that makes zero sense. Uninstalling. Next...!

You can't even open an account in the software. Useless.

The design of the entire app is clunky and ugly, and looks like it just stepped out of the 1990s
