freeloading, whining, leeching reviewers These freeloading whiners really get on my nerves!! Have any of you tight low-lifers even tried to just trial the app (no purchase required) and compared its translations vs Google Translate (or for that matter any other English <> Japanese translation software out there)??? In terms of translation accuracy, it just leaves GT in the dust. With some sentences, GT can't even distinguish between a question (one that simply starts with a When/Where/How and ends with a ?) and a statement. Imagine how awkward and frustrating that would be for a tourist trying to ask a simple question!! I have not bought it yet but it will be the first thing I do just before I leave for Japan in a few months time. This is after I had trialled it and came away very impressed with its translations. I started learning Japanese 3 months ago and now can more or less make out simple sentences. GT is improving but Jspeak is superior in accurately capturing the essence of what I want to communicate in English. Why should a company that has obviously invested a lot of time/effort in the software simply just give it away for free?? Stop leeching off the internet and start paying for the value you get!!!!!

Not upfront about spoken translation cost Description sounded good, reviews were encouraging. But it was only after I downloaded, installed and started the app that I realised you need to pay for a 7-day pass or a monthly subscription. There is also no option to trial the spoken translation before purchasing the pass or subscription. Phrasebook would be more useful if furigana was provided with the kanji.

Useless This app cannot use in japan. Server error occured always appear when started the app and it just closed itself. Luckly I havent purchase the service.
