Comments on Pie Control for Android

★★★★★ Joel Pereira · Oct 1, 2023

I detest using my power button to lock my screen and used this solely for that way back in 2020. Now I got another phone and again used it for a while and still worked decently on Android 12.

★★★★★ Prashant Abdare · May 19, 2022

Intermittently pie control becomes responsive, but it then suddenly starts working. I have removed this application from freezing list, battery optimization is also turned off. I'm using realme narzo 50a.

★★★★☆ Rune Star · Apr 17, 2023

Awesome app w/ minor gripe. Sometimes icons of apps change randomly, and I have to reset them. Other than that this app makes browsing and loading my apps a breeze. *Will update with 5 stars when issue is fixed.

★★☆☆☆ Neil Strawbridge · May 15, 2022

Used Pie Control for many years. It's been one of my go-to apps whenever I've factory reset my phone. Quick access to apps, and lots of slots. The 3/16/21 update removed the backup and restore feature. This is bad. Setup from scratch is time-consuming. Display of the icons has changed. It's also no longer possible to select your own icons. Setting Nova Action to open the App Drawer displays as "A." Why do they change what isn't broken?

★★☆☆☆ Henry Au · Mar 16, 2026

Older version had everything I needed. Still use it, but at least bring back Restore/Backup functionality. It's a chore to set up on a new phone. Only 10 folder limit is restrictive. Make it more like older version with more icon and color customization...

★★☆☆☆ D LoRusso · Nov 27, 2022

Took a perfectly good app and made it worse. Worse looking, worse animations, worse customization, worse functionality. Spent so much time making tweeks no one asked for when all it needed for perfection was a keyboard zone deactivation/don't draw over option. Can this app be rolled back?
