As I try to read today I was interrupted by ads. I have over two years sobriety, so I am a little spiritually stronger than someone new in recovery. Believe this or not but these readings have kept me sober and saved my life through the last couple of years on bad days. But of course I have the paperback too. Is being interrupted with an ad in beginning or mid-reading a good idea? It can deter someone from it? I know it did for me.

The ads ruin this app. There is no [x] button or back button. I have to close out completely, then it may or may not run the ad again.

The ads are awful. Literally 3 seconds into trying to read the reading not only does multiple advertisements, but they're the ones that play all the games with trying to close them. Don't try to do it during meeting. You might get it read two and a half minutes later, and hope to God you don't accidentally turn the sound on. It's bad.
