Description
K1ckstart3r for Kickstarter shows Kickstarter projects in a categorized way. New projects are added every hour.
On the Kickstarter site it is sometimes hard to find projects that have your interest. With K1ckstart3r for Kickstarter you can select your favorite category and browse through the available projects. Clicking in the list with projects for the selected category (example in screen shot #2) will open the detail screen for that project (screen shot #3).
The project-detail screen shows status of a project, start and end dates, pledge amount, amount funded and number of backers. The project-detail screen allows you to go to the project page on Kickstarter.com or share that specific project on your Facebook timeline. A small version of the project video can be played on this screen too.
Want to follow a specific project, then simply click the follow button. From now on you can find details for that project in the follow-list (see screen shot #4). Clicking the link button will forward you to that specific project page on the Kickstarter site.
Through the search screen you can search for a specific project.

Works fine I haven't seen the full screen ads that other reviews report. I'll edit my review of I do, but until then, this is functional. Updated to the Feb 24 version and still no problem with ads. Full disclosure: I do have an ad blocker running, but it doesn't normally prevent the ads, just hides them.

ads it opens a unclosable window(within the app) you have to exit the app and turn the app off to get rid of the ad you could try getting multiple ads on that page so it's not one awkward ad sitting on a white page and a way to close it that is more visible

Ad issue. I also get the Full Screen Ad of Death. You can't even get the ad to close by clicking on the ad. Worst app ever.
