I like it in general, but it would take a lot more convincing to tell me that the computer doesn't already know what the other hands hold A picker never leads with an ace. With that being said when the picker does lead with that ace it's 99% sure that every player has at least one of that suit ...it's constant and consistent to that end check your work edit: I'm not sure I buy it, but thanks for the quick response

Happy to see sleepyhead game app. Fun to play. The layout gives a relaxed feel to the game. Nice tutorial. One thing that I can't get past now that I have been playing a while is that the scoring changes. At the start of a game it gives correct scoring, but then doubles after a few hands. Gives +/- 2 points when Schneider is made and 4 when not. (I never have the doubler turned on). It might be an unnoticed quirk or a deliberate way of hurrying the game to an end after a few hands.

A pretty good app that could be improved by allowing user to see which player won the match instead of (as currently happens) abruptly shutting down and returning to your home screen after the final hand is played. Update: Uninstalled/reinstalled the app which corrected the problem described above. It walks, it talks, it barks like a dog!

Computer players do not follow suit. This time I led Clubs. None of the computer players played Trump on the trick. I was over trumped years player on left with Hearts. Player on left did not play Trump after it was led on previous trick. This is the version of sleepyhead that I grew up with. I am not mistaken. Computer players do not always follow suit when Trump is led. My rating has dropped from 5 stars to no stars for this reason.

Ok game with terrible AI and stacked deals. The deals are NOT randomized. The basic game is solid, but the deals are stacked and leave you rarely actually playing the game more just watching it goes by. A single AI player often gets dealt all the queens. I've seen a game end after three hands many times. The computer players are impossible juggernauts when against you, yet totally incompetent when your partner. They all work together at all times to defeat you. Incompetent programming...

New! You can play with friends or computer controlled AI bots, or both.

Advanced AI focuses first on bringing in new players to the game; pick up the game and just start playing. Training progresses quickly, and even the most experienced players might learn a thing or two. Each strategic decision is explained! See inside the thought process of a mature AI originally published in 1992 and updated in 2019.

To measure your progress, you will be training a puppy which will advance through its lessons as you learn Sheepshead (aka Schafkopf). Puppy raising tips come from 16 years of service-dog training experience.

This is a fun family table card game along the lines of other trick-taking games like Spades, Hearts, Euchre, etc.
