I was so hoping that somebody had already made a keyboard that uses Whisper, so don't have to copy from the ChatGPT app. It works well, but it looks like it uses a less powerful model because it doesn't recognize certain words and phrases that the ChatGPT app does (e.g. It doesn't recognize the word "ChatGPT"). Could you please add a button that lets you select a language, so I can use it with the other languages that Whisper supports?

Great so far. It would be useful to have some punctuation marks and a single button switch to another keyboard to type. Also, wish there were word-level deleting when using the backspace - one character at a time is too slow. Finally, would be great if you could use a slightly larger Whisper model. I assume this one is tiny, and it's got decent accuracy but is clearly limiting the transcription of some words.

A good first attempt, but would be better if it was recognized as a voice typing keyboard like Google Voice so that you can easily toggle it via the microphone button on other keyboards.

Almost useful app since OpenAI Whisper is the only decent speech to text service currently out there. I would much prefer to have it available as a microphone input method rather than as an entire keyboard to avoid changing out of my preferred keyboard every time I want to use it. However, since it is a keyboard, it should also provide an actual keyboard, not just simple controls, since I often want to format the text, make corrections etc. Lastly, I'd prefer a push and hold button to record.

It's very basic and does just what it says, but it gets a lot of words wrong because it's using a tiny model, Even with Max threads. I have a lot of space on my phone, so I would rather download and use the V3 model if it was an option. A more advanced keyboard would follow boards example and type during silence but use the whole text for context in following chunks. Even better would be to let me select words and choose other highly scored alternatives.

I spend like 10 min trying to figure out how to go back to normal keyboard bc I use different languages on my chats and I never found out the option. Uninstall.
