I watch kake News faithfully every day because I can depend on an accurate report on news and weather for all over the state of Ks. I have both News and Weather Apps. On my phone so that I can look to see what's happening here in our area in Arkansas City KS. I especially like Jay Prater for All my weather new's, plus all the other kake new's cast reporter's, thank you, Kake News on your side.

This deserves 5 stars for being informative, but anything happening in or near Wichita seems foreign to me because I live about 160 miles from Wichita, and have never been there. I live in a Kansas county that borders with Missouri, and is only about 60 miles from KC, MO. That is where our local TV news comes from, and none of it mentions Wichita. It is difficult to find apps of Kansas news that can be read, and not of videos, plus many news apps are not compatible with my android.

This app was my favorite. However, the upgrades on the weather map kick me out; the old version was so much better. This is a shame because KAKE was my go to weather app.

Trash Layout is garbage. KWCH app has a better layout. Simplicity is key. KWCH doesn't seem as cluttered. Also, it seems to run better on "low-end" devices.

Hearing impaired people would like the option to read NEWS. Video is not an option for everyone.

The only worthwhile part is the weather. Notifications of news stories rarely take you the story, and even in app, clicking on stories frequently takes you to unrelated articles. I don't know when it changed, but it used to work well. Pretty much all I use it for now is weather, and using the notifications to search on Google

Couldn't figure out why all my news stories were old. Decided to check if needed to be updated. Yep, despite auto update checked, the last update broke the old version and no new news stories since the update. Nice that it won't auto update or tell me it needs to be updated... Just quietly stopped showing me new news...
