Kalesyn: Walkie Talkie

Kalesyn turns your phones and tablets into instant walkie-talkies over your local Wi-Fi. Press to talk, release to listen. Chat, call and video call the people around you too. No internet connection, no accounts, no phone numbers and no data charges: everything travels directly between devices on the same network.

Because it all stays on your local Wi-Fi, Kalesyn is fast and private. Your voice never touches a server and is never recorded.

TALK
• Push-to-talk: hold to speak, release to hear. One person talks at a time, just like a real radio.
• Lock to talk: tap once to talk hands-free, tap again to stop.
• Channels: jump into channels 1 to 8 or create your own named channels.
• PIN-locked channels: lock a channel with a 6-digit PIN so only people with the code can listen.
• Clear, efficient audio that keeps Wi-Fi traffic low.

CHAT AND CALL
• Text chat in every channel, right alongside the voice.
• One-to-one voice calls where you both talk at once, like a phone call.
• Video calls, and switch a voice call to video with one tap.
• Private conversations: invite one person into a hidden channel just for the two of you.

STAY IN TOUCH
• See who is nearby on the same Wi-Fi and who is talking.
• Ping a channel or a person to say "I want to talk", or raise your hand inside a channel.
• Keep listening in the background: hear your channel with the app closed or the screen locked.
• Get notified about pings, messages and calls even when Kalesyn is closed.
• Set your status: Available, Away or Do not disturb.
• History of your calls and channels, kept only on your device.

MADE FOR EVERYONE
• Works fully offline: no mobile data or internet needed, just the same Wi-Fi.
• No accounts and no sign-up: choose a name and start talking.
• Available in 14 languages: English, Arabic, Chinese, French, German, Hindi, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Swahili and Turkish.
• Light, dark and system themes, plus your choice of notification sound and ringtone.
• Built-in help on every screen.

PERFECT FOR
• Events, markets and venues where staff need to coordinate.
• Warehouses, building sites and shops on the same Wi-Fi.
• Homes, schools, campuses and offices: talk room to room without calling.
• Anywhere with Wi-Fi but limited or costly mobile data.

HOW IT WORKS
Connect every device to the same Wi-Fi network. Open Kalesyn, join a channel, hold the button and talk. Everyone on that channel hears you instantly.

A NOTE ON NETWORKS
Kalesyn needs the devices to be on the same Wi-Fi and able to reach each other. Some public or guest networks keep devices apart, which can stop Kalesyn from connecting. A private home, office or venue Wi-Fi works best. Some phones limit apps in the background to save battery, so background alerts may not always arrive.

PRIVACY AND ADS
Voice, video, calls and chat travel only across your local Wi-Fi and never go through our servers. Chat messages and history are stored only on your device. Kalesyn shows ads when your Wi-Fi has an internet connection; a one-time "Remove ads" purchase turns them off for good.

Kalesyn: call together.

Recent changes:
• Fixed chat messages sometimes not arriving after switching Wi-Fi.
• Fixed "who's in chat" sometimes showing only you after a Wi-Fi switch.
