Kangwon Landscape Guide

Kangwon Landscape Guide helps you find the most beautiful natural places around you. Lakes, mountains, viewpoints, beaches, forests and parks are all gathered in one calm, easy guide, so planning your next walk or trip outdoors takes only a few taps.

The Home screen greets you by name and shows landmarks close to your current location. Browse "Recommended for you" and "Popular nearby", filter by category, or search for a place by name. Every card shows how far away the place is, so you always know what is within reach.

Open any place to see a photo gallery, a short description, the type of landmark and its elevation above sea level. Tap "Get directions" to open the route in your favorite maps app, read more on Wikipedia, or visit the official website when one is available.

Switch to the Map to see all nearby landmarks at once on an OpenStreetMap map. Zoom in, jump back to your location, and tap any marker to preview the place without leaving the map.

Tap the heart to save the places you love. Group them into collections such as "Autumn in Seoraksan" or "Summer beaches", and build your own personal guide to the region. Saved places and collections are kept on your device and stay available whenever you open the app.

In Profile you can set the name used in your greeting and choose a search radius of 5, 10, 25 or 50 km. If location is turned off, the app shows places around Chuncheon, Gangwon, so you can still explore.

No account is required. An internet connection is needed to load places, photos and maps. Place data comes from Geoapify and OpenStreetMap contributors, and photos and descriptions come from Wikipedia and Wikimedia Commons.
