This is a really good app for learning kanji, and it has hand-drawing practice too. That's a thing I'm missing in Anki. One thing I wish for is that sentences had full audio, not just the one word (and only in the base form). Also, the data packs are kind of pricey. But it's great for practice e.g. when commuting, and the developer responds to bug reports.

It's a must-have if you're learning Japanese, worth paying a few bucks to have good audio and kanji writing practice. Plus the difficulty of the writing practice changes as you go. So if it had 先生 for the first time it would show the english and the kanji as an outline, and you trace it. Then after a few times of having that word come it will draw it but won't stay up to trace, so you have to write it. Then after a few more it will just tell you the english word teacher, and you write the kanji

Love it! As someone who struggles with consistency, I found it quite helpful. I just need to open it and spend 10–15 minutes, and it will take care of the new words I need to learn and revisiting the ones I've learned, every now and then

... Half the DLC costs money. Okay. Not one single audio is free. Now it's annoying. It has advertisements on the sample that is trying to convince me to buy DLC with no promises on removing advertising. Uninstalled.

Sadly impossible to add any new words to my lists now. I've tried emailing support multiple times since 1 month, but no reply at all. This error appears whenever I try to add a new word: "There was some problem contacting the server. Make sure your network is working!". Of course Wi-Fi and mobile internet work for all other apps. I bought all audio packs for this app, so I'm really disappointed in the lack of support. It's become unusable for my study.

Great concept, but to get any kind od decent knowledge base you need to pay for individual vocab lists. I wasn't expecting everything to be free, I'd be willing to pay something for decent material, but I'm not paying $3-4 per vocab list.
