Karkhana

The Karkhana Teacher's App is a comprehensive cloud-based platform developed to streamline the daily activities and professional development of teachers associated with Karkhana. Available as both a web application and a mobile app (Android and iOS), it provides a dedicated environment for teachers to manage their academic responsibilities and interact with the Karkhana ecosystem.
Key features for teachers include:
Lesson Plan Management: Teachers can view assigned lesson plans, add specific dates and times for delivery, mark plans as completed, and attach relevant completion documents (files or text). They can also participate in various lesson plan categories, including uploading user content (text, files, links) for CAT, Additional Resources, and Assessments, providing responses for Feedback surveys, and contributing to Discussion Forums.
Class Moments: Easily capture and upload images as "class moments" to document classroom activities.
Observation Management: Teachers can initiate requests for class observations from the Karkhana team and respond to observation requests sent to them by accepting or declining. They can also mark observations as completed once conducted.
Training and Events: View invitations for online and offline training sessions and events, accept or decline participation, and for online training, join directly via integrated platforms like Zoom with automatic attendance tracking.
Communication & Feedback: Send suggestions and feedback to Karkhana staff, and receive notifications from Karkhana and school administrators directly within the app.
Personal Profile & Information: Update personal and academic details as needed.
Progress Tracking & Dashboards: Access a personalized dashboard to track individual progress, including the total number of completed lesson plans, observations, feedbacks given, and trainings attended. The app also displays a breakdown of lesson plan completion percentages and observation request statuses. Teachers can view their ranking on a leaderboard based on lesson plan completion.
Secure Access: Utilize a dedicated teacher login for secure access to all features and data.
This app aims to enhance teacher efficiency, facilitate collaborative learning, and provide transparent tracking of professional growth within the Karkhana Veda Collaboration Project.
