As the Kars4Kids Safety App relies on Bluetooth technology, your vehicle will need to be equipped with Bluetooth for the app to function properly. After a one-time easy setup, the app syncs with your vehicle’s Bluetooth to sound an alert when you leave the car, reminding you to take your child along. Personalize the app with a picture of your child and a customized alert ringtone.
Kars4Kids Safety is designed to fit your individual needs and schedule. Choose from an always on setting, recommended for those who often travel with children; scheduled on, where you choose the times you need the alert; and notification only, giving you the option to turn the alert on each time you travel. You can set these options differently for each car you use.
Note: Kars4Kids Safety app is designed as an emergency back-up to careful parental and adult monitoring, not as a substitute for such monitoring. Electronic applications, such as Kars4Kids Safety do fail. Always perform a visual check for your children and do not rely on Kars4Kids Safety as your sole safety check.

Downloaded this app for research. During the 4 days I had it running it worked great. Every time I turned off my car and opened the door the alarm on my phone went off, reminding me to check my backseat. Easy to install and easy to use.

My issue is after I downloaded the app but did not make any changes because
I was going to finish in 30 minutes after my visit store. In those 30
minutes I received two phone calls in the store (meaning not driving in my
car) but the app does not allow one to answer the phone. And then it shows
no record of incoming calls.

Doesn't work Stopped working after 1 day. No longer rings to notify. Set to always on and still no sound when the engine turns off. My volume is turned all the way up!

Didn't work. Didn't alert me when I got out of the car and then a couple of hours later the alarm when off while I was sitting at home. Then I went to Costco shopping and halfway through the store it started going off, about 20 minutes after I got out of the car. This is not acceptable. A child would be dead by that time.
