Description
Learning Katakana is challenging. Unlike Hiragana or Kanji, they are uncommon in texts. As soon as you learn Katakana, you lose practice. Alephbet Katakana contains organized lessons designed to let you read complete words and phrases as you go that will give you the practice you need to make it stick. As you enter the practice session after each lesson, you will get the targeted words and phrases that contain only the Katakana you've learned so far.
* Learn all 46 Katakana in record time * Ten lessons that cover pronunciation and reading tips * Practice reading with carefully chosen words that you can actually read * Write Katakana on the popup view * Listen to the audio examples to perfect your reading * Comprehensive Practice Mode to test your knowledge after the lessons

Easy to use. Lessons are well done, and the examples provided help you memorize and acquire new vocabulary. I recommend this to users who have already learned hiragana.

AKA "Alphabet Katakana" -Review for Android app- As Katakana apps go, this one is neither lacking in nor overfilled with information. The design is neatly organized but sort of difficult to read and interact with as everything is so small. Every lesson comes with explanatory notes to clarify the character groups, and practice vocab to review what you learned so far. It would be nice if we could listen to the pronunciation of the *vocab* instead of just being shown the word in romanji. You CAN, I should note, listen to the individual characters by themselves when you first learn them. I give an extra point to the fact that they do take things slightly beyond your standard 46 characters. You will still need to further your learning elsewhere after mastering the content in this app, but you at least get a little taste of what you are going to need to know when you're ready to build on the basics.

Awesome! Recommended. I personally don't know a lot about Japanese language. I just know few like good morning, hello, goodbye, and I love you. This app taught me a lot of stuff. Thanks a lot!

Missing a symbol Where is the "go" symbol?

Boring If this is how they plan to teach Katakana, I'm better off on any other app. I deleted the apps (I got them all) minutes after getting them. The pronunciation isn't of a native (I prefer to get the pronunciation wrong on my part and not because I learned it wrong) and the app is simple boring. I've seen better.

Crashing after update. When I attempt to 'toggle answer', it crashes on me.
