KENWOOD Remote is an application that connects and controls compatible KENWOOD car receivers via Bluetooth® like a wireless remote control. This application can also display KENWOOD car receiver’s source information on the smartphone’s screen, and enables the user to make an audio setting using application's easy to use graphic user interface. Application can also work as a free standalone music player application, when the unit is not connected to the headunit.
INNOVATIVE GESTURE CONTROL You can command basic controls such as pause, skip or repeat simply by finger gesture operations on the screen of the smartphone. Also, you can make a search for a specific song, album or an artist from your playlist.
RECEIVER SETTING USING SMARTPHONE GUI Audio settings, such as Time Alignment and EQ setting can be easily be set using the KENWOOD Remote application's easy to use graphic user interface. Note: Depends on the model.

This app works but is tricky to set up. Originally I was not getting the volume control screen etc. Do a Google search on "is there a Bluetooth app that controls kenwood car stereo that actually works".... Follow the instructions that advise the correct procedure to connect Bluetooth via the app. Not device Bluetooth

Please add the power in order to switch radio off And the equalizer on mobile cannot view the higher hz categories an additional slide for the equalizer categories will make the app 100% without flaws

This app is awful! Doesn't auto connect, barely can get it to connect to the radio, gives a list of gestures you can use but no description on what it does. Come on Kenwood, what is this BS?

Awful app. I would expect full remote control, this however only controls playing music from mobile. I'd expect remote with full capability such as switching sources, radio, DAB remote control, radio station control, USB control. You advertise full control, buyer gets half product! I replaced my old cheap marine radio with Kenwood just to get decent remote. Now I only have fake advertisement. Even screenshots show source selection, I do not see such user interface!?

This app crashes, can't add music app shortcuts, and doesn't save settings to the head unit. It's an awful app. Do better, Kenwood

Uninstalled within minutes of installing this app. Super unimpressed with my new Kenwood car stereo, and even moreso with this app.
