Great app!! This app was exactly what I was looking for being able to share my data with other devices without using Hotspot data. It worked perfectly and did NOT use any extra battery power that I noticed even when 3 devices were all connected at the same time. I will be using Net share from now on and telling anyone who will listen how helpful it is.

Netshare works great to share public open Wi-Fi connection to my other older phone via Wi-Fi direct hotspot, with extra proxy connection setting (e.g. 192.168.49.1 port 8282). This helps bypass my samsung phone native Wi-Fi hotspot limitation, where it restricts sharing only mobile sim card data. And also help my older / more problematic phone that cannot detect the aame public open Wi-Fi. This app is great for cruises data share too!

Tested in s21, didn't work. It created the hotspot but didn't reroute the internet directly or over proxy.

Paid for pro only to realize the pro version has no real benefits! Still can't use a vpn because it is a proxy! There is no tethering, although it says it offers tethering and the app is broken with the ones it offers! I still have ads! The widget just takes me to the upgrade screen which tells me I already purchased! And the actual app acts as if I never upgraded and tells me to buy it again. So sad pda net no longer has the upgrade option or I would be using it instead!

The link in the app to download on Windows contains a trojan. I just spent an hour making sure there were no traces of it left behind. DO NOT DOWNLOAD.
