I'm brand new to CKD having just learned about my condition in the past couple of weeks. Obviously I'm freaking out about what I can and cannot eat, and boy is it tough! I stocked my refrigerator and pantry with foods I know are okay and have been building meals around them, but tracking totals in a spreadsheet is a pain. This app is exactly what I needed! It lets me add foods easily, and I can create custom meals as I make them for daily/weekly preps! 10/10

Kidney Diet is the best app for tracking many micro nutrients (oxalate, calcium, phosphate, etc.) The database could use expanding, but it is adequate. You cannot change measurement types, i.e. tablespoons rather than cup ect However you are able to change portions. While those are the more important issues, it would be nice to stop the warnings once you've seen them. I plan to continue using alongside My Fittnes Pal for farther comparison.

Wonderful to find an app that tracks potassium and phosphorus. Only thing I would add is when creating custom foods, include that standard nutrients for a full tracking experience, as I have diabetes as well.

Limited products, foods. Cannot see the whole day with individual values as MFP. It appears this company also relies on users inputting the data. The problem is that people make mistakes. If you are going to charge, then pay nutritionists to enter the information correctly. Some basic and well-known products are not listed, and code scanning does not work. I tried to scan an ice cream sugar-free by Chapman, sugar-free Minute Maid lemonade, and Slim fast bottle. The scanner and nothing!!!

WAY TOOOO many discrepancies in the amount potassium in food compared to actual dood labels. Nit being able to edit and fix ALL the discrepancies to time-consuming in having to input info manually and still not able to edit those customers foods AND custom foods did not alow all ingredients ie phosphorus. Just a very difficult app to use sufficiently.

It requires you to create an account, you have to pay for it, and you can't put your own portions. Also, it isn't immediately clear how to delete foods you added on accident, assuming you can.
