Pepp – Allowance & Chores: family planner, family calendar and chore chart in one app
Assign chores, keep track of events, earn allowance: with Pepp, parents and kids organize family life in one place. Parents set up tasks, kids complete them and learn how to handle money, save up and take responsibility along the way. Family planner, chore chart and digital kids' account in one family app.
▶ How Pepp works Parents create chores (one-time, recurring or as a daily routine), add a date and time if they like, and set the reward: allowance in money or screen time in minutes. Kids complete the task and send a proof photo or a comment. Parents take a quick look and approve the reward with a swipe – only then does it land in the child's account.
▶ A family calendar for chores and events The calendar shows all of your family's chores and events by month. Dentist, soccer practice, visiting grandma: events are for the whole family or individual kids, and every kid has their own color. When everything on a day is done, it turns green, so kids watch their streak grow.
▶ Chore chart and household routines Set up recurring household chores once, assign them to a child and repeat them daily or weekly: empty the dishwasher, take out the trash, tidy up the room. As a household planner and weekly schedule for kids, Pepp replaces the list on the fridge. Everyone sees what's coming up and what's done.
▶ Reminders that don't nag Pepp reminds you in time about chores that are due and upcoming events – bundled and with a daily limit. Everyone chooses which notifications they get in the settings.
▶ A reward system instead of a paper reward chart Pepp combines reward chart, chore tracker and allowance app. Instead of arguing about chores, there are clear rules: whoever helps out gets rewarded – with money or screen time. For screen time, parents set a weekly goal and can pause it when needed. Pepp keeps track of the minutes; you enforce them.
▶ Features for parents - Manage allowance per child – a digital kids' account instead of a piggy bank - Create chores, assign them to a child, review the proof - Set rewards freely: money or screen time - Set weekly limits and approve payouts - Pick a payday and get reminded - Invite kids and a second parent via QR code or invite link - Family chat with proof photos - Kids mode: one shared family device is enough
▶ Features for kids - Check their balance anytime - Their own chores and events in the calendar - Set a savings goal with a picture and track the progress - Request a payout once the savings goal is reached - Family chat with parents and siblings
▶ Learn about money and saving – along the way Money doesn't grow on trees: kids understand that best when they earn their allowance by doing chores. With Pepp, they set savings goals and see how sticking with it pays off – age-appropriate financial literacy with no bank account and no card.
▶ Safe and kid-friendly - No bank account, no card: parents pay out - Completely ad-free - One family subscription covers everyone – kids' access is included
▶ Frequently asked questions Is Pepp a kids' bank account with real money? No. Pepp tracks allowance as a balance – parents pay out in cash. Do kids need their own phone? No. With kids mode, everyone shares one device. For kids without a phone, Pepp sends the reminders to their parents. Is Pepp a full calendar app? Pepp is the calendar for everyday family life with kids: chores and simple events. It doesn't replace your work calendar.
Recent changes: Calendar, events and reminders • New: The calendar shows all of your family's tasks and events – days turn green when everything is done. • Events like the dentist or practice, for everyone or individual kids. • Tasks now get a date and time. • Pepp reminds you in time about what's due – adjustable per area. • Starting from taschengeldapp.com takes you straight to sign-up. • If a payment fails, Pepp shows a notice instead of locking you out.
