Works good, but it would be great if it could show the remaining chared in the batteries. Also, setting up voice commands in Alexa is very complicated and confusing

Received shades (Automation III) as part of warranty replacement, but they don't match existing Automation III still under warranty not much more than a year old. App won't pair with shade, no instructions found in box or online. Pressing button on shade pops up message in app but on only options are factory reset shade and cancel. Neither option pairs to app and allows creation of a Home even though shade is detected on button press.

Won't be purchasing any more kirsch system blinds again. A. Doesn't work with Google Nest B. The app is useless and only works if you are connected to the Wi-Fi in which your blinds are connected. What's the point?! What if I need to control them from elsewhere. C. Emailed Kirsch about Google Nest as of 08-31-2021, and they said exactly this. "It may be compatible in the future. As for now nothing in the making"

The support person set up the app on my phone but left no documentation on how to set up the app. One option that was set, was to delete the setup information, including permissions, if the app isn’t used for a period of time. The app stopped working. I updated to the new version, and it won’t run because of permission settings, but it doesn’t indicate which ones. I don’t know why the installer set the app to self-destruct. It seems like a useless option.

Screenshot above is deceiving. I bought this line of window shades because I thought they were controllable by Google Assistant/Google Home. You can see the Assistant icon (along with Alexa) in the screenshot. Upon installation, I discovered these are only controllable with voice through Amazon Alexa. Deceptive screenshot.
