Kitesurf Buddy

The digital buddy to advise you on what kite and board size to use when you want to get in the water.

It also includes a wind speed unit converter supporting most of the speed units (well.. no Warp unit support).

I look forward to get comments from everyone. What would you like this app to have to help you kitesurf more and better? Let me know and I'll do my best to implement feature requests in future versions.

To calculate the kite size this application takes into account your weight, the type of kite you want yo use, the wind speed and how powered up/down you want to ride.

The results are very similar to the information provided in several web sites such as Surfer Today, Virginia Power Kites and James' Blog kite size calculator.

Nevertheless if you feel that the result size is off what you use then let me know (use the "Email Developer" link). With feedback from more kitesurfers I can try and teak the formulas to get better results.

Recent changes:
New for v0.9.1:
· fixed a crash on some phones with non-english languages (thanks to the Polish user that reported the crash)
· kites sizes that are not available commercially now show up in red

New for v0.9:
· the board diagram now changes to better reflect shape of board for under/over power.
· some bug fixes.
