★★★★★ Brilliant app in general but searching for anything is such a chore. Search in the library cannot be limited by the language, so I see Wikipedia in 200 languages. Search in the books themselves works weird? Sometimes it seems to be working only on pages, sometimes it doesn't show the pages? For example, I search for "List of BBC radio stations" (existed in Jan 2024), and it offers no hits. Useless for the use with the document containing over 6 millions articles, right? Can't use it then :(

★★★★★ Previously, it could simply open the zim files by opening through the app 'add zim button'. Yeah! It would be nice if the Zim files can be accessed through the file manager with compatibility. Now, In version 3.13.0, there are two options either to move or to copy. In both cases, it copies the file. Which is time-consuming instead, it can use changing the pointers to the file. Or when user moves file manually it could just open it. Manually moving then opening creates copy of archive in same dir

★★★★★ Need hyperlink on and off option to prevent extreme distractions of pop up window always asking to open the hyperlink while scrolling. Need better UI. Need inbuilt dictionary.

★★☆☆☆ Download directly from Kiwix and disable Play updates. This version is crippled by Google Play Store rules. It will not work with Torrent apps that make downloading the largest archives (100+ GB) easier. Once you do that, it's an excellent app for offline copies of Wikipedia or whatever knowledge archive you'd like to have locally.

★★☆☆☆ Can't use external hard drive plugged into usb c port on my phone. I have all the Zim files on my hard drive, but it won't let me view the files. This hard drive I'm using I want to be able to plug it into any device and the kiwix on that device will let me view them. Phones don't have enough memory to hold all that you have, and I'm not ok with just having a few files.

★★☆☆☆ Worse and worse. I go back every couple years to see if any improvements have been made (Wikipedia AND Wiktionary searched simultaneously, for example, like IOS has done for years, etc.) and am always disappointed. Version 2.2 is still much more useful to me, as it lets you adjust MANY more settings, and comes without all the useless "bells and whistles" bling taking up screen space. And good luck searching Wiki source for ANYTHING! Worse than all, 3.11 CANNOT READ ZIM FILES on my device anymore!
