Klemvik Bells

A handbell choir works because every bell has exactly one owner. If two ringers think they cover F#5, the note sounds twice; if nobody does, a hole opens in the melody. Klemvik Bells keeps that ownership written down, next to the pieces the group is learning and the rehearsals that got them there.

▸ Why a bell chart comes first
Handbell parts are read by position, not by instrument. Each ringer holds a short run of neighbouring naturals plus the sharps between them, which keeps hand changes small. The Bells tab lays out the whole set (2, 3, 4 or 5 octaves) as a grid and colors every bell by its ringer. Auto-split hands out the naturals in even, consecutive runs and gives each sharp to whoever holds the note below it, the same way most directors assign a new choir. Tap any bell to move it to someone else.

▸ Ringers
A roster with experience level (new, steady or lead), the bells each person currently holds and how many rehearsals they have attended. Removing a ringer releases their bells back to the chart.

▸ Repertoire in three stages
Pieces move from Learning to Polishing to Ready. Each entry keeps the composer or arranger, the octaves it needs and a difficulty level from 1 to 5, plus the date it was last rung and how many sessions included it. Filter by stage to see what still needs work before a concert.

▸ Rehearsal log
Log the date, length, the pieces worked on and who came, with a short note for next time. The summary card counts sessions, total hours and this month's rehearsals, and names the piece the group has rung most often.

Comes with a sample six-ringer ensemble so the chart has something to show; clear it from the menu and start with your own choir. Light and dark themes follow the system setting.
