It's very customizable and full of features and design granularity, but the performance and battery usage is not great (specially with for loops, JSON parsing, icons and color manipulation), also any animation triggered by locking/unlocking the phone is not shown on the lock screen (yes, I have set the live wallpaper to the lock screen and the main screen, I have tried the built-in animation section and tried using various formula triggers as well, all without success)

I've been using Custom for years. It's the most used and the most important app on every android phone I've owned. Whenever I'm looking to get a new phone the 1st app I look for compatibility and stability is Custom. Yes, it has a learning curve, but there's help everywhere you look. Forums Reddit Custom Website YouTube. At the dev is great, always present and helpful. He tries his best to update with new features and bug fixes. Most importantly, he listens! In case it wasn't obvious, it's great!

A big waste of time -I get flustered when I try to save a wallpaper that ive been working a lot of time on into export just to find out the file won't reload or data gets erased in storage...worst yet is the "locked by author" themes where you can't save at all after you work hard on it...they need to specify it is a locked theme before you buy it. Not buying any more themes and taking no chance anymore

Frustrating - how about you put a big button in the menu that says "SET WALLPAPER". I made a wallpaper, not to hard, and then spent 30 min with an LLM trying to figure out how to actually get the wallpaper onto my screen. And yes, I set KLWP as my wallpaper. Phone is Fold 8, internal screen. As of leaving this review I still can't get my wallpaper to actually appear on my screen. Update 1: Figured it out, possible glitch with new fold 8 (at time of this review). Still annoying, will test out...

Had to pay for Pro to use edgeui, just for it to constantly crash after a very long time on the loading screen keeps crashing before I even use the app.
