Description

Der kleine Waldgnom Knard findet eines Morgens sein Tal zerstört und macht sich auf, seine Freundin die Eule zu suchen. Er begegnet Trollen, Rittern und Zauberern, und gewinnt das Vertrauen der Kinder der drei Völker, die ihm ihre Zaubersteine schenken. Mit diesen Steinen tritt Knard dem Unhold entgegen, der sein Tal zerstört hat und der nun auch die drei streitenden Völker selbst bedroht.

Im Gegensatz zum Cliché des mächtigen Helden, der keine Angst kennt, und Kriege gewinnt, ist Knard einer, der durch Freundschaft und Gerechtigkeitssinn getrieben seine eigenen Ängste überwindet. Er gewinnt keine Kriege sondern verhindert sie. Und er geht mit mutigem Beispiel voran, wenn es darum geht, sich aufzuopfern, um die ständigen Auseinandersetzungen zu überwinden und Frieden in die Welt zu tragen.
