Knexo

Knexo is a live video and voice chat app for scheduled, 20-minute group conversations with new people. Browse upcoming conversations created by other users, sign up for one that interests you, and join the video call from the app at the scheduled time. You can also create your own conversation and let others sign up.

How it works
• Browse the calendar of upcoming conversations and sign up for a time that suits you.
• Or create your own: pick a time, choose a topic, name your conversation and set how many people can join (up to 4 including you).
• The conversation room opens 5 minutes before the start time. Join the live video call using your camera and microphone.
• Every call lasts 20 minutes, then ends automatically. If you want to keep talking, sign up for another one.

Features
• Scheduled group video calls: small groups, fixed 20-minute length.
• Conversation topics: choose from 10 suggested topics, including an open-ended one, or write your own.
• Conversation starters: suggested questions you can bring up during the call to keep the conversation going.
• Shared Care Agreement: everyone agrees to community guidelines for respectful behavior before creating or joining a conversation.
• Safety: report a participant from inside the call. Reports are reviewed by the Knexo team.

Knexo is for people who want to practice social skills, get more comfortable talking to new people, prepare for interviews or dates, or learn about someone with a different background, in a structured setting where the topic is chosen in advance.
