The story takes place about 30 years prior to the events of the previous game, III. The setting is the "Hundred Years' War" between the great Lindar Empire and the Kingdom of Langheim, one of the Eldorua kingdoms. The journey begins in a refugee camp located near the border of these two great powers. In a world swirling with conspiracy, people from all walks of life are swept up in the chaos of war. The stories of their respective knights and dragons eventually converge toward a single conclusion. Enjoy an epic narrative featuring characters from previous titles.
