Knock Detector for Torque Pro

★★★★★ Not Too Sure It Works I downloaded this app and used it with torque pro on my 2005 Mercedes-Benz C230 Kompressor and tested it twice. Both times the app stated no detonations

★★★★★ Soooo... I have 5 stars because After reading the reviews I saw the Developer was very quick to respond to each person, BUT! No instructions...Really? I am a girl and how am I supposed to know you need the car in 3rd gear? I ran the test in park and the app held my RPM's at 3000 and said no detonation were detected. I was really freaked out before I realized I wasn't going to red line if I floored it...Actually it gave me a huge adrenalin rush! Not so good at the time but funny now...lol So, what does it mean is wrong with your car if you do have detonations and what exactly causes the problem and what exactly do you need repaired when detonations are detected? Last, but not least of all.... Thank you for all the hard work you have done in creating this app... :)

★★☆☆☆ Nothing happens? First off... Instructions on how to use it would be nice. I believe you are to floor it in 3rd gear. Is that supposed to be from a stop... Don't know. I see the throttle indicator move, and temps move around, but I keep having to back off because of speed and engine rpm. Don't think it is necessary to go 100mph in third to test it. Am I not doing something right? Or does it do nothing if there is no knock? Using it on a 2013 f150 ecoboost.

★★☆☆☆ Not functional on 05 prius Hooked it up, got on the interstate with it, test never ended. The status bar fluctuated and got as high as your screen shot for the app preview (63%)and thats it. I got the prius to 101mph and this thing never completed its task.
