Comments on Korean pronunciation tester for Android
★★★★★
I found this works well for me. I am native UK, my Korean is lower-intermediate. The app gave me 100% on things I know for sure I can say well. It gave me 70-90% on longer phrases, where I know I make mistakes, which felt correct. I tried a few deliberate mistakes and my scores went down accordingly. Looks like a great app to me, definitely seems to check pronunciation better than the well known language apps.
★★★★★
I've barely been using it for 5 mins, but it's a really good app. It has lots of categories, no ads so far, and an easy set up. It rates you pronunciation and tells you what it sounded like and what it should sound like. The only thing is that it would be nice to be able to hear the Korean pronunciations first.
★★☆☆☆
You can't listen to any of the phrases, so it makes the app almost useless to practice your pronunciation because you have nothing to compare it to. You would have to use a secondary app for listening practice, kind of defeats the purpose.
