I love NATIONAL PUBLIC RADIO and am not using that verb automatically or superficially; ESPECIALLY this week, I might say, (today is Monday, May 9) —between the right-wing takeover of our Supreme Court & Vladimir Putin's brutal airwar against the people and the infrastructure and the land of Ukraine with all the implications that go with the existence of a Hutterian world leader who DOES have nuclear weapons, the existence of much that I hold deeply and truly dear feels very fragile right now!

This app provides me the best and freest way to experience my local public news and radio.

Have rarly, if ever, been able to listen to an episode of any show on KPBS without App crashing several times. I love the NPR content, but this app sucks when Compared to Prone app which works seamlessly. Several times a week uninstall and re-installs have failed to resolve the issues and provide relief. It has been almost 5 years since my last review, and I have updated my phone 3 times hoping app will not crash every 5 minutes. Likely I have been asking for too much. App on my iPad works.

Limited, as is KPBS itself. News is better now you got rid of Ebone Monet, with diction problems and unprepared speaking and reporting manner. Idiotic amateur cartoons sandwiched between shows - horrible; lame, insulting to intelligent people. Too many reruns of many shows. Too many Brit shows; Horrid, too. Best is Frontline, Ind Lens, ACL, other similar. Local shows largely bad. Roundtable is more like a high school project, but tries to address pertinent issues sometimes.
