Play popular video formats
Play supported files in popular formats, including MP4, MKV, MOV, WebM and 3GP. Actual playback support depends on the audio and video codecs inside each file and the capabilities of your device. HD and 4K playback also depend on compatible files and hardware.

Floating video playback
Use picture-in-picture to keep a video visible in a small floating window while using another app. Check a message or browse another screen while continuing to watch on supported devices.

Easy gesture controls
Adjust video playback with on-screen gestures. Swipe to change brightness and volume, or move forward and backward through a video. Keep common controls close while you watch.

Browse and manage folders
Choose specific folders for your media library and browse the videos stored in them. Hide video folders from the main library when you want a simpler browsing view.

Offline music and audio
Listen to audio files stored on your device, including supported MP3, AAC, FLAC, OGG, WAV, M4A and OPUS files. Create custom audio playlists and use background audio playback and lock-screen controls while listening.

Open direct stream links
Play supported network streams using HTTP, HTTPS or RTSP links. KS Player supports compatible HLS (.m3u8) and MPEG-DASH (.mpd) streams, with custom request headers where needed. Streaming requires a network connection, and compatibility depends on the source and media format.

View media information
Check useful details about a media item, including its duration, resolution, file size and media type.

Choose your theme
Use Light, Dark or Dynamic Color themes to suit your preferences and supported device settings.
