Kyaam - Muslim Prayer Timings

Kyaam helps you never miss a prayer. It calculates accurate prayer times for your location and wakes you with the Adhan, even when the app is closed or your phone is offline.

PRAYER TIMES, CALCULATED ON YOUR PHONE
• Fajr, Sunrise, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib and Isha for today and the days ahead
• Calculated offline with a trusted astronomical library; no internet needed
• Live countdown to the next prayer
• 11 calculation methods: Karachi, Muslim World League, Egyptian, Umm al-Qura (Makkah), Dubai, Moonsighting Committee, ISNA (North America), Kuwait, Qatar, Singapore and Turkey (Diyanet)
• Hanafi or Shafi'i / Maliki / Hanbali Asr
• High-latitude rules for places with very short nights
• Adjust any prayer by a few minutes to match your local mosque

ADHAN ALARMS THAT RING ON TIME
• Set an alarm for any prayer: at the prayer time, or minutes before or after
• Prayer alarms move with the prayer time every day; no need to reset them
• Custom alarms at any time you choose, once or on selected days
• Choose a sound: full Adhan, short Adhan, a soft chime or your phone's sound
• Vibration and snooze, set per alarm
• Uses Android's alarm clock service, so alarms ring even when the phone is idle and come back after a restart

HOME SCREEN WIDGETS
• Next prayer: a small tile with the next prayer and its time
• Next prayer bar: a slim one-line widget
• Today's prayers: all five prayers in a row, with the next one highlighted
• Prayer times: the full day, including sunrise
Widgets follow your phone's dark mode and update on their own.

YOUR LOCATION, YOUR WAY
• Use GPS, or pick your city from more than 148,000 cities worldwide, all available offline
• Search by city, state or country, with or without accents
• Travelling? Kyaam notices when you are in a new city and asks before updating your prayer times

FIVE LANGUAGES
English, اردو (Urdu), العربية (Arabic), Bahasa Indonesia and Bahasa Melayu, with full right-to-left support for Urdu and Arabic.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• No account and no sign-up
• No analytics and no tracking
• Your location, settings and alarms stay on your phone
• Location is used only to calculate prayer times

TIPS FOR RELIABLE ALARMS
Some phones limit apps running in the background. If an alarm is ever late, allow "Alarms & reminders" for Kyaam and set its battery usage to "Unrestricted". The app shows you how.

Local mosque times can differ by a few minutes from calculated times. Use the manual adjustments in Settings to match them.

Adhan recordings are from Wikimedia Commons and are used under their licenses.

May Allah accept your prayers.
