Description
LA Wallet will allow you to keep a digital representation of your current Louisiana-issued state ID or driver's license. The app will generate a unique image that is 100% Legal for driving purposes per Louisiana law of Act 625 of the 2016 session and approved by the Louisiana ATC for age-restricted purchases at various local restaurants, bars, and retail outlets. Once a user activates their current, valid license in LA Wallet, the digital driver’s license is valid for the life of the user’s current identity credential issuance. When the user’s physical license expires, they must renew their license with the OMV or through the LA Wallet app, if eligible. Additionally, LA Wallet offers the paid service VerifyYou™ Pro, an age-verification tool that helps keep businesses ATC compliant when offering home delivery of age-restricted goods.

It is good to have for airports and medical dispensaries because my driver's license won't scan. It just sucks that it doesn't notify me to update when I get the "This is embarrassing...try again..." instead of "Update". Also, good to have for my Concealer & Carry permit and Fishing License instead of carrying a purse.

I love this app, it will update in real time your information. For an example, at this very moment that I'm writing this, I am waiting on the physical copy for my concealer permit BUT it's already updated on LA wallet with the new expiration date. The only thing I wish that LA wallet would do is link up with vehicle insurance companies, so you can have your up-to-date vehicle insurance information right there on hand. That would change my four stars to five!

Update, since the recent update the app wants you to turn on lock screen security on the phone and then login to the app as well I'm not doing it when they disable this feature I will start to use the app again. Louisiana this is not a good thing.👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾
