LangTool is a front-end for the LanguageTool open source proof-reading program. It finds spell errors and also grammar problems.
Chose among more than ten different languages, enter a text to check and the program will send it to the LanguageTool server for checking. Mistaken words or expressions are highlighted and correction suggestions provided.

Ok, it works. A bit clunky, cuz you have to exit the active app to go to this one and paste your text. No prob. And then you get a choice to correct it to take it back to the app you were using. It'd be great to have a "copy text" button. However, there's none. Long press "copy all" copies everything on the page! Like literally every word on the page. So, it's a manual selecting your text only-pain! I'd think it might be an easy fix with a "copy text" button. I may be wrong.

Really like what it does. Desktop works a bit better than the app though. Would love for some of the clean workflow of the desktop plugin to be added to the mobile app This being the amount of suggestions for a Grammer fix And the live updates and suggestions over the clicking of links and clicking check all But all in all really happy using it

Only app I've found that effectively checks German grammar, it has 25 languages and there are different dialects e.g. Canadian vs American vs British English or German vs Austrian vs Swedish German. It includes short explanations and possible fixes, definitely would recommend.

Doesn't include the possibility to copy the corrected text to another app, so it is a bit useless.

This is undoubtedly the worst app I've ever encountered. As a developer myself, I have to be direct: this reflects the work of someone who has cut corners. There seems to be a desire for quick results without putting in the necessary effort. The app lacks reliability, consistently fails to identify errors accurately, and crashes frequently while displaying network errors.
