LastPass has been my go-to for saving passwords for a few years now, and I really enjoy this password manager. But what I don't enjoy is that the app for my phone now wants me to use my master password all the time, when it used to just be the PIN.

This used to be great. Security with convenience. Now I have to enter my master password every single time I log in to a site. My master password is complicated and very difficult to enter. This defeats the whole purpose of the program. It is super inconvenient to use now.

Easily the worst option on the market. Their MFA implementation is a disaster. New users should never select LastPass. I don't yet have the bandwidth to migrate to a better service.

First: Look up the LastPass security incident that occurred December 22nd, 2022. Second: Look for another password manager, unless you're okay with changing 100+ passwords again

I have an annual subscription, but I am finding something else. LastPass is no longer fit for purpose. I used LastPass because it could synchronize across devices and platforms, but they have stopped supporting my Samsung tablet, and it keeps deactivating on my Windows 11 desktop and Windows 10 laptop, making me enter a master password, then respond to an email, and then enter the master password again - every time I switch Wi-Fi or hotspot. It will also won't work with my bank anymore.
